Olympic Fail

Well... I failed us all. I had one Chance to represent Twin Falls and I failed. I didn't win the Free Throw Competition in the Olympics this year... I cracked under the pressure. I made only 7 out of 10 free throws and the winner made 8. Disappointing I know. Sorry family. Sorry Idaho... Sorry America. Maybe next yea..... oh nope I don't have another chance.

But Zone Conference was Great. always love learning more about the gospel from President Gardner. I Also did my musical Number for Zone Conference and it went ok. The Piano that I was playing on was WAY out of tune so it like freaked me out and definitely didn't sound as good as our 100 year old piano at home. But that's all good. Guess they just don't make em like they used to.

Elder Wangsgaard and I Are doing really well. We doing anything and everything to try and find people to teach! We have had some good success recently so its been going pretty well! And its crazy that transfers are already this upcoming week! I suspect I will be here for a little longer but with President Gardner you really just don't know. This transfer has gone by so fast though

As im sure you all know this week is General Conference! I'm super excited to be able to listen to The Prophet and Apostles and learn from their teachings. Should be a great weekend

Love you all!

Music-Post Monday!

Hello! Glad my family decided to ditch me and go on a cruise...

But this week has been super good! My goodness There was so much music stuff that happened... On sunday there was a lot of our ward members gone because of Spring Break and so They asked me to play the piano for The Primary. That was super interesting. I didn't do that bad surprisingly... But not that good either.

Then this week the Papillion Stake decided to do a missionary musical fireside which all the missionaries in Omaha Participated in. It was very focused around Eternal Families Which is always a great topic for people to hear. There was a ton of childrens songs which is pretty interesting because we don't get to sing those too often! But it went really well!
For this Fireside I was asked to sing in a special Quartet number! I really enjoy that because most of the rest of the fireside was in Unison... And Harmonies sound so much better! So I'm glad that I got to do that. Hopefully there will be another one of those pretty soon!.

On top of preparing for all of that... I had to speak on sunday! I thought it went ok, I had a lot of material and not a lot of time so I had to cut out quite a bit of what I was going to say. But that's a good problem to have!

This week we have zone conference Which should be super good. I am also playing a special musical number for that... guess all the music skills I have learned in my life are ACTUALLY coming to use :P haha

Well I'm just happy to be here!

Love you all!

Jesus is a God of Miracles

Hi!!! Happy (early) Saint Patrick's day!

Congratz to my sister for making the Varsity Tennis team! As a FRESHMAN! Super sweet.

This week has been pretty amazing.

In our mission we have been focusing on praying for Specifics. Like you wouldn't believe how specific... for example these last 2 weeks I was praying that we would be out walking on the sidewalk, and a man would drive up to us and ask us to come teach him. As a companionship we were praying for a family of 5 to teach. It seems pretty unrealistic but IT TOTALLY WORKED!

Tuesday: we were out walking trying to find someone to teach and somebody started honking their horn and they pulled over and asked us to come teach him. We went to his house and he has 3 kids and a wife. Family of five. Super sweet miracle.

We also had a super sweet stake conference this week. It's always good to hear from church leaders, and there was a lot of great content. A few missionaries and I were asked to do a musical number for the priesthood leadership session. It went pretty well. It wasn't anything fancy but I enjoyed singing!

I'm not sure whats going on but I've been doing so much musical stuff recently. This next Sunday we are doing a special missionary musical fireside. I'm singing in a few small groups as well as a general missionary choir. Guess I took those choir classes for a reason? Oh and next week I'm doing a musical number for zone conference. So yeah that's interesting.

We have interviews with the mission president this week, and I'm sure you've probably seen like 10 pictures of me on the Facebook page! I'm sure my mom likes that.

I'm grateful to be here! wouldn't be anywhere else :)

Love you all!

Livin' in the Ridges.

Shout-out to my sister for being a better student than me! Got into BYU and BYU Hawaii! Too good... too good.

Zone Training was this week! It was super awesome! we learned a ton of things about personal revelation! And my mother will be happy to know that I did a special musical number for it! And it went pretty awful to be honest but hey its the thought that counts right? Oh and I will be doing another one for zone conference in 2 weeks... so at least I have some more time to practice!

We also did the Zone Olympics. I qualified for the Mission Olympics in the free throw competition. Hopefully I can bring home the gold for good ol' Two T.

We have spent a ton of time working with members in this area. But man I don't know if it was like national go-out-of-town week or what because like Every Door we knocked on no one was there... Even our members! But hey that's No worries. At least we aren't getting beat up and robbed like we did in Council Bluffs  (JK mom I have never been robbed or attacked.)

I like being in Omaha, In a couple of weeks the Omaha zone's are participating in a musical fireside that will be super awesome I'm sure. I might be in a quartet or something with a few other missionaries so that should be fun!

So there is a member here that is From Twin Falls! Her name is Sister Call. She is related to the Crowley's and so we had a nice time reminiscing about the promised land. Its pretty funny because a few weeks ago Lauren Crowley emailed me and told me to watch out for her family and I thought there was no way I'd ever see them... and now here I am in their ward. Pretty ironic!

Well Love you all!
